I just received and e-mail from the people who have the server for this site. There is a planned downtime for February 11 between midnight and 2 am.
"During this time, there will be periods of connectivity loss, and while we will do everything possible to minimize the downtime, you should expect up to 45 minutes of downtime. Hopefully downtime will be much less, but we are blocking the window periods during these maintenance periods to the hours above to be safe. We will be upgrading equipment and routes while implementing major adjustments on our Distribution switches, Core/Edge routers and Layer2 connectivity in our NYC and EWR POPs."

Sorry about that brief downtime (if anyone noticed). I was upgrading Apache on the web server and managed to destroy a config file. I quickly recreated it from memory, so let me know if you see anything strange happening.

As you may have noticed, we came back online on Monday after being down for around a week. From what I hear from Interserver, the server got a virus and wouldn't even boot anymore. Anyways, I have tried to do things better this time, hopefully it won't happen again. Oh, I don't believe the IRC is fixed yet, but I'll get to that soon, few people ever used it anyways.

I set this up a while back, but I just realized I never mentioned it. Anyways, we have Google Applications set up for KitsuNet now. These are:
Google Mail: http://mail.kitsunet.org/ Google Calendar: http://calendar.kitsunet.org/ Google Documents: http://docs.kitsunet.org/ Google Start Page: http://start.kitsunet.org/ Google Talk
Really I expect you'll only care about Mail, but I figured I'd set up the other things too, since it wasn't much additional effort. I'm going to stick our logo up on those sites once I have a chance too.
I believe all old KitsuNet mail accounts were transferred. If yours was lost, let me know and I'll recreate it. Also, if you do not have a KitsuNet e-mail address and would like one, contact me and I'll set you up with one.

We're now running SMF 1.1.2. Apparently it has some minor security fixes.
